Tennessee Technological University, popularly known as Tennessee Tech, is a state-funded college situated in Cookeville, Tennessee, United States, on an 80 miles (129 km) campus east of Nashville. In 1909, it was called the University of Dixie, which later on changed to Tennessee Polytechnic Institute in 1915.
