Established in 2009, the Southern University of Science and Technology is a public research institution situated in Shenzhen, China. The motto of Southern University of Science and Technology is “Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship”. The campus is spread across 480 acres and houses two schools along with 12 departments of Mathematics, Physics, Ocean Science and Engineering, Finance, Earth and Space Sciences, Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, amongst others. The university offers a wide range of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral level programs in specialisations of Engineering, Science, Humanities, Medicine and Business. Southern University of Science and Technology is home to more than 5,400 students comprising of undergraduates, graduates and doctoral scholars.
