Oxford Brookes University was founded in 1865 in Oxford, England, UK as the Oxford School of Art. It was housed in a single room on the ground floor of the Taylor Institution in the City Centre. The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various fields. Oxford Brookes University has four campuses that are conveniently accessible from transport networks. The spectacular main campus of the University, the Headington Campus is made up of three sites: Gipsy Lane, Headington Hill, and Marston Road, and is located one mile east of Oxford city centre. According to the Research Excellence Framework 2014 reports, 94% of Oxford Brookes' research is internationally recognised. There are 11 national teaching fellowships available.
