Founded in 1961, Northwood University is a private non-profit university in Michigan. It is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, an accreditation agency that has been recognised by the U.S. Department of Education. The university started with a batch of hundred students and gradually with time it transformed from being an institute to an accredited university..
Campus, Courses and Infrastructure
Northwood University's campus offers numerous leadership development opportunities, cultural awareness and diversity programs, advanced fitness facilities and programs, and many more. It also offers a unique EXCEL program which allows students to build a self-development portfolio by indulging in extracurricular activities like volunteering at local community service, helping at food banks, visiting nursing care facilities, taking parts in plays and getting involved in campus organizations.
