Founded in 1959, North China Electric Power University is a public university situated in Beijing. The university offers various bachelor’s and master’s degree programs along with doctoral courses in an array of discipline. It is considered as a prime university, which is collaterally constructed by the University Council and the Ministry of Education. Recently, the campus of the university was relocated from Baoding to Beijing. Presently, it has 27,000 students out of which 20,000 students are enrolled in graduate courses, and 7000 students are enrolled in postgraduate and doctoral course programs. The university has nearly three thousand full-time faculty members and administrative staff. Further, it was officially accredited by the Ministry of Education, China. It is renowned as one of the predominant discipline platforms of innovation in China and has partnered with 211 universities in the country. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in Mathematics and Physics, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Foreign Languages, Renewable Energy, Nuclear Energy, Human and Social Science, amongst others.
