Established in 2004, on Rectors’ decision with great support from Research Universities of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Institute of Economics, Central Economics and Mathematical Institute, Institute of Economic Forecasting), main governmental institutions (The Central Bank of Russian Federation, Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange) and the Basic Element Company, the biggest Russian diversified conglomerate group. Moscow School of Economics has affiliations with the Association of Professional Schools of International and International Forum of Public Universities. 

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

Moscow School of Economics MSU offers a full cycle of education in Economics at all levels of education - undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate, including postgraduate degree taught completely in English. Located in the city of Moscow, Russia, MSU has the greater part of its resources southwest of Moscow, on Sparrow Hills. The University is equipped with advanced offices and a cutting-edge foundation that gives an ideal report climate to the understudies. The performance indicators are grouped into five areas: Teaching (the learning environment); Research (volume, income and reputation); Citations (research influence); International outlook (staff, students and research); and Industry income (knowledge transfer). It also produces subject rankings and rankings for Young Universities, Impact, Reputation, And Emerging Economies.

A league table was created using nine performance criteria for 54 disciplines spanning all stages of the student life cycle. Entry standards, Student-staff ratios, Expenditure per student, Continuation, Student satisfaction, Value Added, Standardisation, Subject Classification, and Career Prospects are the indicators utilised by the organisation.

It also takes into account outside opinion polls of university faculty and administrators.
