California State University was established in the mid 19th century as a public education institution in the city of Fullerton, California. Back then, the university was known as the Orange State College. The 1st batch of the university was started in September 2019. At that time, it had only 452 students. In 1972, the university was renamed and became California State University, Fullerton. The university has shown unexpected growth during the 1st decade of the 2000s. In those 10 years, Student Recreation Center, Arts Center, and Steven G. Mihaylo Hall were built. In the California State University System, this university has the largest student body. At present, the university offers 50+ bachelors and 50+ graduate degree programs in which three doctorate degree programs also exist. The university has been well recognized in the nation for engineering, music, nursing, dance, computer science, communicative disorders, music, social work, teacher education, and so many other subjects. The university offers financial aid to those international students who aren't able to support themselves. California State University has itself claimed that it had provided financial assistance to 68 percent of students. The university has been assisting a cultural and intellectual center for the Southern region of California. It has remained as a driver of economic development and workforce in the nation for over many years. Currently, it aims to emerge as a national education institution that not only generates graduates but also build such graduates that led their own success by highly innovative thinking, experiences, and collaboration. The value provided by the university is often considered as a part of its legacy.
