Established in 1818, Dalhousie University is one of the oldest institutions of Canada and is located in the beautiful city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
Dalhousie University has three campuses, namely the Carleton Campus, Sexton Campus and the Studley Campus in Halifax and another Agricultural Campus in Bible Hall, alongside medical teaching facilities in Saint John, New Brunswick. The Halifax campuses consist of historic, ivy-covered buildings and green spaces providing an enriching learning environment with the right balance of modern facilities and natural open grounds. Dalhousie University offers more than 200-degree programs to over 19,000 students from all over the globe and provides development programs in 15 countries. The research conducted at the university focuses on international challenges and is carried out in collaboration with nearly 100 countries. Dalhousie University has formed Information Technology Services (ITS) which regulates research, computing, and telecommunications facilities. The School of Planning at the university aims to represent their mutual interests and organizes a plethora of cultural activities. In addition to academic competitions, it offers students the opportunity to participate in its NCAA Division I athletic programs, volunteer with service groups, engage in performing arts and achieve work experience through internships and part-time projects. Dalhousie University has nearly 4,000 international students from more than 115 countries, which makes up 24%-26% of the total student population at the University.
