1. Rigveda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rigveda is the oldest and most important of the four Vedas. It consists of 1,028 hymns organized into 10 books or mandalas, composed in ancient Vedic Sanskrit. These hymns are mainly dedicated to various natural deities like Agni (fire), Indra (thunder and rain), Varuna (water), and Surya (sun).
