To understand what are exogenic & endothermic forces are, think of the surface of the Earth, constantly changing due to the internal and external pressures. These changes can be slow or sudden and are responsible for creating mountains, valleys, volcanoes, and even deep ocean trenches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Endogenic forces<\/em> come from within the Earth. The forces include movements in the crust of the Earth caused by heat and pressure from the core. Examples are earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and mountain-building activities. These forces are powerful and often create sudden changes, like the formation of new landforms or the shifting of tectonic plates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A good example <\/em>of an endogenic force is the formation of Mount Fuji in Japan, which is an active stratovolcano created by volcanic activity caused by tectonic movements under the Earth’s surface.

On the other hand, exogenic forces<\/em> act outside the surface of Earth. The exogenic forces include weathering, erosion, deposition, and mass movements like landslides. They are mainly caused by natural elements such as wind, water, ice, and the heat of the sun.
