Tropical evergreen forests are found in the hot and wet regions near the equator, such as the Amazon basin, Southeast Asia, and parts of India. They receive heavy rainfall and have tall, dense trees like mahogany, rosewood, and ebony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tropical wet evergreen forests in India are found in areas with temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius and more than 200 cm of rainfall.  They comprise about 7% of the planet’s surface.  They are mainly found close to the equator. Coniferous Evergreen Forests are grown in cold regions like Canada, Russia. The trees, such as spruce and fir, have needle-like leaves and are adapted to survive in snow and cold temperatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
