Even as a schoolgirl at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vikaspuri, she envisioned herself in a global academic setting. \u201c<em>Ever since I started my schooling, my dream was to study abroad<\/em>,\u201d she says, her voice brimming with emotion. It was not a fleeting thought but a deeply ingrained goal, one that she held onto despite the twists and turns of her academic journey.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her undergraduate studies, however, took place closer to home. She pursued a <strong>Bachelor of Occupational Therapy<\/strong> at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities at Delhi University. The decision to stay back was not entirely hers\u2014it was a compromise, an understanding between a daughter with global aspirations and parents who wished to see their child grow under their guidance before letting her take flight. \u201c<em>Even for my bachelor\u2019s, I wanted to go abroad right after the 12th<\/em>,\u201d she recalls. \u201c<em>But my parents had some concerns; they wanted their child to stay with them for four to five years. After that, they said, we will send her abroad for her Master\u2019s degree.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-academic-excellence-determination-and-unwavering-spirit-nbsp\"><span id=\"academic-excellence-determination-and-unwavering-spirit\">Academic Excellence, Determination, and Unwavering Spirit\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Anjorika\u2019s journey was marked by academic diligence and persistence. She is currently employed at the Delhi Commonwealth Women\u2019s Association (DCWA) in Kailash Colony, South Delhi, where she works as an occupational therapist.
