This crisis has affected individuals across all age groups, but the nature and intensity of these challenges vary significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young people, in particular, have borne a disproportionate burden. Adolescence is a period of significant social and emotional development, and the isolation imposed by lockdowns and social distancing measures has disrupted this critical phase.
