The Australian Government Department of Education gives the scholarship funding as it aligns with the e National Strategy for International Education 2025. The scholarship aims to support regional education in Australia. The award is open to students from the Agriculture, animal sciences, Science, and mathematics fields. The scholarship benefit is an amount of AUD 15,000 per year for the course duration (maximum period of 4 years). Both undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply. For example, pursuing a Master\u2019s after completing a Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, the applicant must have an offer letter for studying an eligible program full-time at the university. The program must be delivered entirely at the UQ Gatton campus in 2024.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the time of scholarship application, it is not necessary to accept the full offer letter\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moreover, the student must reside in a regional area of Australia for the scholarship\u2019s duration as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure 2016 (Australian Bureau of Statistics)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some of the eligible programs for the scholarship include Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours), Bachelor of Agricultural Science, and Master of Agribusiness, among others. Note: the dural degrees with the\u00a0 Bachelor of Agribusiness are not eligible.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Those from low socioeconomic status (low-SES),, living with a disability, and first in their family to tertiary study can apply.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-destination-australia-scholarships-2024-selection-amp-application\"><span id=\"destination-australia-scholarships-2024-selection-application\">Destination Australia Scholarships 2024 Selection & Application<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Destination Australia Scholarship 2024 selection criteria are the academic merit, eligibility under the prorgam guidelines, and the personal statement of the student. To apply, students can visit the official website of the University of Queensland. A personal statement of 300 words must be submitted for the application process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship applications have been closed for Semester 1 2024 commencing students.\u00a0 However, the online application for\u00a0 Semester 2 2024 commencing students is open.
