    Andrew<\/strong>: Factories should take the lead on protecting the environment because their impact is massive compared to individuals. For example, a single factory can generate tons of pollution daily, dwarfing what one person produces in a lifetime. Strict regulations and greener technologies for manufacturers would lead to huge reductions in emissions and waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Claire<\/strong>: Individuals should lead on environmental protection because we can drive cultural change. By making green lifestyle choices – reducing energy, taking public transit, minimizing waste – we set an example and normalize sustainability. And by purchasing eco-products and ethical companies, everyday consumer decisions incentivize businesses to follow suit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ans<\/strong>: The question of whether factories or individuals should take greater responsibility for environmental protection is a complex one. Both parties play a significant role but I feel that individuals play a much crucial role. Although governments are usually blamed for not doing enough to make our country pollution-free, we always forget that as much as it is their responsibility, it is ours too. Every person\u2019s actions, no matter how small they are, make a significant impact when seen through a collective lens. Individuals can minimise waste by following the 3R principles, i.e., Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This involves avoiding the use of single-use plastics, reusing items, and recycling waste. In addition to this, people can also make a difference by conserving energy, using energy-efficient appliances, and considering renewable energy sources to reduce consumption. To conclude, as much as a collective effort is essential to bring change, it is also important that one should focus on their actions. It is not just about making big changes, but also about making small yet consistent choices that can add up over time. Therefore, individuals should consider environmental protection a priority and work towards it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
