New Zealand Immigration has improved the process for deciding student visa applications by giving their students more efficient assessment tools. As a result, they will be able to process the student visa applications faster and help the candidates know the outcome of their applications sooner. The application cost of the New Zealand application visa is NZD 375. In 80% of the cases, the processing times for New Zealand student visas were within 6 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visa allows the candidates to study full-time in schools, tertiary, and English Language Study. The candidates can also work part-time for up to 20 hours on weekdays and full-time on holidays depending on the conditions of the visa.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The candidates can apply for the student visa if they are students of distance learning or correspondence students who are studying outside New Zealand and hence they must visit New Zealand for more than 3 months to attend their education provider, such as to do practical study or sit for the exams. The candidates don\u2019t need to be able to speak or write English to apply for a New Zealand student visa. There has been a 20% increase in the number of student visa applications as compared to the peak period in 2022\/2023. It is also expected that there will be an increase in the number of student visa applications from February to March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
