Under this, 15 grants are available to students to undertake short-term research (3 weeks) in the UK. The grant is available for academic researchers. However, it is also open to professionals working in the arts or conservation sectors. History, archaeology,\u00a0 history of art,\u00a0 literature,\u00a0 philosophy, and performing and creative arts are some of the eligible fields for this grant. Interested students should apply online via the CWIT website before 17.00 hours (IST)\u00a0 on 28 February 2024. Those in the final stages of their doctoral studies can also apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The applicant must state clearly what they want to do in the UK. They must also provide details of the archival material they want to consult&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must also provide information about the academic or professional contacts who have agreed to meet the applicant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, the applicant must provide a plan of how they will use the experience on their return to India.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Those who have already received the&nbsp; CWIT grant within the past 5 years are not eligible.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cwit-short-research-grants-application-process-nbsp\"><span id=\"cwit-short-research-grants-application-process\">CWIT Short Research Grants Application Process&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants can visit the CWIT website to apply for the Short Research Grant. The application process is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide documentation such as a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/blog\/category\/resume\/\">CV consisting of an email address, photograph, and postal number\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide the emergency name and contact details in India<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, the applicant must submit a statement of purpose. Academic researchers can write a statement regarding the sources they want to consult. The statement should be 2-3 pages at maximum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specify the duration of the research. Those who want to stay in the UK longer than 2 weeks will have to apply for additional grants.
