The condition is that they should have departed from the US to Canada or Mexico for 30 days or less and possess a valid admission stamp or paper Form I-94, Arrival\/Departure record which should be endorsed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates having an expired nonimmigrant visa but a valid I-94 record and any of the below-mentioned situations must reapply for and should be issued a nonimmigrant visa before entering the U.S:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applied for a new visa but it has not been issued yet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applied for a new visa but was rejected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outside the US for more than 30 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Traveled to a country which is not included in the automatic revalidation provisions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Belong to a State of Sponsor of Terrorism designated country including Iran, Syria, and Sudan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They are on an F student visa or J exchange visitor visa and have traveled to Cuba<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They are on an M student visa and have traveled to a location outside the U.S. other than Canada or Mexico<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-documents-required\"><span id=\"documents-required\">Documents Required<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Check below the list of documents required for automatic revalidation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the candidates require a valid passport and I-94 record.
