The United States is planning to implement a pilot program for these types of visas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following, the US Department of State will put effect this for an increase in the pool of H1B and L visa holders in upcoming 2024, with the target of widen the program to include other allowed categories. As of January 2024, many H-1B forte working employees will be able to renew their visas in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June 2023, the declaration of the plan was made by the White House during the state visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The H-1B permits employees for a three-year initial stay, extended to six years, with no prerequisite for overseas corporate affiliation. After the renewal, the 240-day rule allows overseas workers to work for a maximum of 240 days. However it does not ensure reentry, though it is one of the preferred ways to stay in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, the L-1 visa is for transfers within multinational corporations and requires at least one year of employment with the overseas company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-big-number-of-student-visas-granted-to-indian-students\"><span id=\"big-number-of-student-visas-granted-to-indian-students\">Big Number Of Student Visas Granted To Indian Students<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>White House stated, in 2022 the United States issued 125,000 visas to Indian students. This number shows a 20 percent increase last year. On the other hand, the U.S. Mission in India stated, a big record number of over 90,000 student visas were issued in June, July, and August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India and the United States have recently kickstarted a new Joint Task Force of the Association of American Universities and major Indian educational institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the United States is sanctioning up to 100 extra U.S. undergraduate students to study or intern in India via the <strong>Benjamin A.
