Settling in Canada as a Permanent Resident<\/strong> requires Express Entry where applicants who score above the CRS cut-off marks are invited. In 2023, the second draw of Express Entry saw an overwhelming number of 5,500 invites. Reportedly, this is mainly because of the fact that the CRS cut-off dropped to a staggering 490 marks compared to 507 in the first draw of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Express Entry<\/strong><\/a> essentially reduces the PR Visa application process timing to a duration of 6 months or less. This draw had no particular chosen category for the invites. Invites were made from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). This is an event that can encourage many Indians with appropriate skills, education, and experience to apply for PR Visa in Canada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Express Entry draws resumed in the month of July 2022 when there was a significant drop in the CRS score. In November 2022, the CRS cut-off score plummeted to 491. The next draw picked up the competitive pace and the cut-off was higher, touching 507. The jeopardized fluctuations in the CRS cut-off happened due to the pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, this low cut-off score gives hope to a lot of study-abroad students who want to work and settle in Canada.
