Ans:<\/strong> Hobbies are fantastic stress-busters, and having a hobby outside of one’s professional domain can be a true blessing, especially in a stress-inducing environment. I firmly believe that individuals should cultivate hobbies separate from their work, as they can serve as a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of life, offering an oasis for recuperation and mental relief from the stresses encountered in the workplace<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this day and age, having hobbies to fall back on for solace can be beneficial for self-reflection, self-love and our mental health. I’d like to assert on this claim with a little example. There was a period in my life when I was pushed to a very dark and stifling  place. My job’s hectic environment was entirely to blame. However, I adhered to my painting passion, which pulled me out of that dark period and showed me the light at the end of the tunnel. I still consider my hobby of painting to be my personal sanctuary when I am pushed into a negative zone. I believe that having a hobby has been beneficial to my mental health since it has not only helped to mend my broken spirit but has also provided a window for me to gaze within, introspect, and take a break from all the noise in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from that, I believe that having hobbies, especially ones that are physically demanding   can boost confidence and perhaps help one see life from a fresh perspective. In my situation, having interests other than painting, such as sports, has gradually enhanced my confidence and physical fitness. Now, instead of viewing life through a bleak and nihilistic lens, I have a more optimistic viewpoint and approach to it. So much so that having hobbies outside of work has helped me break free from my shackle and mingle more. This has encouraged me to create bonds with folks I would have been hesitant to approach previously. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, I believe that cultivating interests beyond our professional commitments offers a much-needed break from the pressures and demands of everyday existence. This becomes increasingly vital in our fast-paced lifestyles, where we often neglect self-care and underestimate the toll that stress exacts on our mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
