Ans:<\/strong> Every outdoor activity or sport involves some physical contact to a certain extent, but that does not mean we can simply ignore the positives of playing the sport as it surely does outshine the negatives. I vehemently disagree with the statement that football involves too much physical contact and should be banned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prohibiting a sport simply because it involves physical contact makes no sense. Sure, I realise that parents are concerned about their child’s safety, but I do not believe there is any cause to be concerned when the sport is performed under supervision or while taking cautious measures to prevent injury. Furthermore, I feel that children should be encouraged to play football or other outdoor activities. Football can be a terrific technique to instil certain social skills in children and make them both physically and psychologically fit in this day and age when youngsters are getting more lethargic and averse to socialising with others. Besides, prohibiting a sport like football can be harmful to a child’s overall growth and development is that children who do not participate in such physical activities, particularly those that require risk-taking abilities, leadership qualities, and the use of social skills, thereby lose the ability to evaluate risks and situations using their own calibre and experience. Such individuals are further unable to convey themselves in social groups and lack the necessary collaborative skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, denying a child the opportunity to participate in sports not only limits their ability to make independent decisions but also encourages them to be anti-social. This, in turn, can have a negative impact on a child’s social and professional life as they grow older. One of the main reasons adults want to ban football is to protect their children from concussions and other potentially life-threatening injuries. However, as with any other thing, it is extremely improbable that a child may sustain life-altering damage. Even if a child incurs a serious concussion while playing football, there is no sufficient evidence to support the notion that such injuries can have long-term consequences for children. It is quite rare to sustain such harm from playing football. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To conclude, I believe that banning a sport should not be an option to ensure safety. Instead, youngsters should be encouraged to participate in the activity while taking preventive measures to avoid significant damage or harm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
