Ans:<\/strong> With the advent of the modern era, often known as the digital era, the world has witnessed a paradigm shift in people’s lifestyles, with children being the most affected demographic. Gone are the days when we could hear children cackling and playing in parks and gardens. Today, children spend their time isolated at home, playing violent computer games that add no value to their lives. As a result, in my opinion, parents should be responsible for encouraging their children to get outside and participate in outdoor activities such as football and basketball.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most significant consequences of such a shift in children’s lives is that youngsters of this generation have become socially isolated and discordant, devoid of any real human connections. If this continues for future generations, the prospects for humanity appear to be very bleak in my opinion. Not only are youngsters becoming more reclusive and antisocial by the day, but they are also becoming the repository for a plethora of health disparities such as obesity and sickness. This is why it is imperative for us to encourage children from a tender age to go outside and indulge in outdoor activities such as sports. Outdoor sports such as basketball and football, according to surveys performed by the Florida Children’s Hospital, can truly reinstate a child’s sense of self-esteem and self-worth. Furthermore, participating in sports that require a certain amount of physical exercise can keep youngsters healthy and fit, both physically and psychologically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instilling the habit of playing sports, in my opinion, can be a terrific practice for teaching children essential life lessons and ideals including solidarity, humility, and dispute resolution. As previously stated, athletics can be an excellent way to relieve stress, enhance general health, and help social development. With the help of a simple example, I’d want to postulate the stated statement. My best friend, when I was just six years old, didn’t like to participate in any outside sports and preferred to remain to himself rather than socialise. He became increasingly ill and obese by the day, which exacerbated his health problems. This is why his parents insisted on him playing outside. I noticed a significant change in him after he began participating in outside activities and sports. He was not only more confident and self-assured, but he was also physically healthier than before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from bolstering one’s overall health, sports can provide other benefits to a child. Children who participate in everyday physical activities such as outdoor sports tend to grow socially at an early age. They can speak well, remain self-assured, and have high self-esteem. Sporting activities can even increase a child’s general endurance and immunity. Physical activities and sports, as they say, can release a person’s happy hormones known as endorphins. Thus, participating in sports is not only beneficial to one’s health but also beneficial to a child’s heart. Moreover, encouraging children to participate in sports is an excellent method to teach them essential social skills. Children participating in outdoor sports tend to exhibit particular characteristics such as leadership, communication, and team-building abilities. These qualities, if instilled at a young age, will undoubtedly come in handy in the future when they must function as a team in the professional realm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To conclude, sports are not only beneficial to a child’s overall health but also to their academic prowess and social skills. Therefore, parents should strongly encourage their children to participate in outdoor activities such as basketball, football, or any other sport that requires a high level of physical activity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
