The applications have opened on 18th February. The closing date for applications this year is 20th February.&nbsp; The ballot offers 3000 Indian nationals to live, work, and study in the UK. After the ballot closes the successful candidates will be notified. The selection process is random, and successful applicants are notified within 2 weeks of the ballot closing date.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-who-can-apply-for-this-visa\"><span id=\"who-can-apply-for-this-visa\">Who Can Apply for this Visa?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for the India Young Professionals Scheme visa, you must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must be an Indian citizen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be between 18 and 30 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have a qualification at a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/blog\/types-of-bachelor-degree\/\">bachelor\u2019s degree<\/a><\/strong> level or above (Regulated Qualifications Framework level 6, 7 or 8).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have \u00a32,530 in your bank account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must not have children under 18 who live with you or depend on you financially.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must not have previously been in the UK under this visa or the Youth Mobility Scheme visa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can check the full list of eligibility requirements on the official website of the UK government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-the-ballot-system-work\"><span id=\"how-does-the-ballot-system-work\">How Does the Ballot System Work?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The India Young Professionals Scheme has a limited number of places available each year. For 2025, there are 3,000 places allocated for Indian nationals. To apply for the visa, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter a ballot (or a lottery) and be selected randomly. The ballot is free to enter and does not guarantee your visa approval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enter the ballot, you must declare that you are eligible for the visa and provide some basic information such as your name, date of birth, passport number, email address, etc.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can enter the ballot online on the official website of the UK government. You can only enter the ballot once per year. If you enter more than once, you will be disqualified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The ballot opens and closes at different times each year. For 2024-25, the ballot opens on <strong>1 <\/strong>October 2024 and closes on 31 October 2024.  For the year 2025, the ballot opens on <strong>18th February<\/strong> and closes on <strong>20th February<\/strong>. You can enter the ballot anytime during this period.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of the ballot will be announced by email within 10 working days after the ballot closes. If you are successful in the ballot, you will receive an invitation to apply for the visa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The invitation will contain a <a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/explore\/visa\/uk-visa-tracking-with-gwf-number\/\"><strong>unique reference number<\/strong><\/a> and a deadline to submit your application. The deadline is usually 30 days after you receive the invitation.
