This comes as great news for study abroad applicants as it eases the route to their dream study destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TOEFL might not be a criteria anymore, however, Australia will accept scores from the following English tests for visa requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/tests\/pte-exam\/\"><strong>Person Test of English<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>(PTE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cambridge English (CAE) (also known as C1 Advanced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/tests\/ielts-exam\/\"><strong>International English Language Testing System<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>(IELTS), which includes One Skill Retake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Occupational English Test (OET), this test is for health professionals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, applicants should be aware that IELTS test results with OSR for Australian visa applications, except those for subclasses 476, 482, and 485 (Australian Visa types) require scores from a single sitting\/attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not the first country from where TOEFL has been removed. Back in March 2022, TOEFL was pulled out from Russia and Belarus due to Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine. TOEFL No Longer Accepted; Know More\"  class=\"wp-image-23496 pk-lazyload\"  data-pk-sizes=\"auto\"  data-pk-src=\"https:\/\/cdnbloglearn.leverageedu.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/kenny-eliason-1-aA2Fadydc-unsplash1-1-1024x683.jpg\" ><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, Educational Testing Services (ETS) the conducting body for TOEFL and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) announced that this English proficiency test\u2019s time will decrease by 1 hour and 56 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall the test will be split into multiple time slots. This will include 35 minutes for reading with 20 questions, 36 minutes for listening sections followed by 28 questions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidates will get four tasks which they will have to complete within a time frame of 16 minutes. While the writing tasks must finish within a time frame of 29 minutes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this doesn\u2019t end here. There are more changes which have come up.
