Russian<\/strong><\/a> medical universities are set to provide over 5,000 medical seats to Indian students during the 2023-24 academic year. This opportunity will be provided to the students at the All India Russian Education Fair 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second edition of the All India Russian Education Fair 2023 will take place on June 20. It will be held at The Madurai Residency Hotel in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fair will offer on-the-spot admissions for MBBS<\/strong>, engineering<\/strong><\/a>, and <\/strong>technology <\/strong>courses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per Russian university officials, their institutions have met the recent criteria set by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for recognising MBBS courses offered by foreign medical universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Can Apply to Russian Universities?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Students who have cleared the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) can apply for the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs in medicine<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. They are also required to have passed the higher secondary school examination or its equivalent. They need to have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the relevant core subjects\/degrees. For SC\/ST and OBC students, the minimum needed score is 40 per cent.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Additionally, students who have studied in the Tamil medium are also eligible to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Admission to Russian universities does not require pre-qualifying exams such as CET or IELTS. The fair will provide an opportunity for on-the-spot admissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
