The National Association of Foreign Student Advisers, currently known as the Association of International Educators (NAFSA). It will have its 75th Annual Conference & Expo<\/strong> from May 30 to June 2, 2023<\/strong>. The theme is \u201cInspire an Inclusive Future.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cStudy in T\u00fcrkiye\u201d pavilion was set up at the show by the Education Economy Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). This was with assistance from the national airline Turkish Airlines (THY), which attracted Turkish universities from all locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Akdeniz, Marmara, Dogus, Hasan Kalyoncu, \u0130stanbul Medipol, Istanbul Nisantasi, Karab\u00fck, and \u00dcsk\u00fcdar universities, as well as other public and private universities from Turkey. Also participated in the expo where they had the chance to promote their cutting-edge, diverse. Also inclusive higher education to international stakeholders and to foster international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four-day conference brought together professionals working in this field. Particularly university rectors, managers of foreign education programmes, and managers of international offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expo includes a variety of events like seminars, workshops, and meetings that are centered on diverse topics like new trends, challenges, creative techniques, and the globalization of higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlighting Importance of Turkish Universities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Irfan G\u00fcnd\u00fcz, the president of the Education Economy Business Council, discussed the council\u2019s ongoing efforts with the Anadolu Agency (AA). Highlighting the engagement of more than 40 delegates from 16 universities under DEIK since 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G\u00fcnd\u00fcz emphasized the long-term advantages by highlighting the importance of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s effect on students who return to their own countries. He noted that these students are viewed as future trade partners who would support T\u00fcrkiye as well as valuable components of infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This acknowledgment helps to explain T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s dedication to the education sector and its emphasis on luring foreign students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gundogan stated that T\u00fcrkiye had made significant advancements in the field of higher education in recent years. Also that the country keeps its doors open to students from all geographies in higher education while reiterating the nation\u2019s goal to increase the number of international students in the upcoming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concluding that international students, in particular, significantly contribute to the Turkish economy. Aditionally this trend will continue in the future, he added. G\u00fcndogan emphasized that the country has very high-quality universities<\/strong>. Moreover that the government accepts students from different fields, including medicine, health, engineering, fine arts, and social sciences.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that they believe that with the election process behind them. As there will be much more demand from abroad to the country in the upcoming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G\u00fcndogan highlighted they are working on the protocol and intend to build up education fairs in the near future. He emphasized the significance of the NAFSA Annual Conference and Fair in bringing together universities and guaranteeing the visibility of T\u00fcrkiye and its universities in the worldwide arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
