An Australian University, which denied the rumors of placing restrictions on Indian students. Last month, received approval from the Indian government to set up its campus in GIFT City.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Univesity of Wollongong<\/strong><\/a> received proper official approval so that they can conduct their educational courses in India. This status was confirmed after they had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a discussion between the Prime Minister and the VIce-Chancellor Professor Patrica M Davidson. This decision was reflected on 12th May.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through a university statement, Professor Davidson stated that they are extremely delighted to receive official confirmation. As well as proper planning to start their operations within the GIFT City.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davidson also stated that the university officials are also extremely grateful to the Australian government and Modi government for overall support. The vision of providing high-quality Australian course materials and a learning environment<\/strong> to Indian students would undoubtedly prove extremely beneficial.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports stated that more than 2,400 Indian students are currently pursuing their higher education at the UOW. This was done with engineering, business, and information technology being the three most popular degrees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the country is all set to enroll the most Indian students, surpassing the all-time record in 2019. Davidson further stated that the university would implement necessary changes to cater for the needs of the Indian students.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planning of UOW at Creating Campus in India\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Officials of UOW stated that they will be setting up their campus in GIFT City with a Graduate Certificate in Computing, A Master of Applied Finance<\/strong>, and a Master of Computing in the Finance Domain.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university also has plans to introduce Bachelor of Business and Computer Science courses in 2025, as per a University statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official statement also stated that the university will be establishing a Global Capital Markets Research in GIFT City soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
