What are Pronouns?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pronouns are words that take the place of a noun. It refers to a noun that has already been mentioned or to a noun that does not need to be named specifically.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example: <\/em>in the sentence “John loves his dog,” t<\/em>he word “his” is a pronoun that replaces the noun “John.”<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Apart from this, there are many different types of pronouns, including personal pronouns <\/em>(I, you, he, she, it, we, they), possessive pronouns<\/em> (my, your, his, her, its, our, their), reflexive pronouns<\/em> (myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves), and demonstrative pronouns<\/em> (this, that, these, those).   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
