(I\u2019m at home.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For more specific usage of direction, use <strong>\u2018hasia\u2019<\/strong>. <strong>Example: <\/strong><em>Camina hasia el parque. (He walks towards the park.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, use <strong>\u2018a\u2019<\/strong> to indicate movement to a place. <strong>Example:<\/strong> <em>Voy a la tienda. (I\u2019m going to the store.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Prepositions of Time or Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are all the rules that you must follow when making sentences on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/explore\/learn-english\/time-preposition-examples\/\">prepositions of time<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When you are talking about periods, years or months, you must use <strong>\u2018en\u2019<\/strong>. <strong>Example: <\/strong><em>Estudio mucho en la tarde. (I study a lot in the afternoon.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are talking about specific periods, then you make use of<strong> \u2018a\u2019. Example: <\/strong><em>Nos vemos a las 5. (See you at 5.)<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Prepositions of Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prepositions of Place also referred to as Prepositions of movement use words like <em>a, hacia, de, desde, hasta, en <\/em>and several others in their sentences. There are no rules for this. Simple prepositions contain a single word whereas compounds contain two or more words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-do-we-use-prepositions-in-spanish\"><span id=\"why-do-we-use-prepositions-in-spanish\">Why Do We Use Prepositions in Spanish?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prepositions are a fundamental part of the Spanish language.
