    What is Indirect Speech?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Indirect speech is when it tells you what someone said but does not use the person\u2019s actual words. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here are some formulas for indirect speech:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Past Simple Tense did + V1 V2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Past Progressive Tense was \/were + V4<\/p>\n\n\n\n
