The Vishwa Konkani Scholarship Fund aims to offer merit-cum means-based scholarships to needy students who speak Konkani as their mother tongue. Scholarships for undergraduate study<\/strong><\/a> in the fields of engineering<\/strong> and MBBS <\/strong>are available through this flagship initiative of the VKSSF. The annual scholarship amount for each student is Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 40,000, respectively. More than 2000 scholarships have been granted under this initiative by VKSS since it began in 2010. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, the Vishwa Konkani Scholarship Fund offers a number of other scholarship opportunities, including master’s, study abroad<\/strong><\/a>, and endowed scholarship programs. Engineering and MBBS Programme<\/td>The applicant\u2019s mother tongue should be Konkani. Their annual family income should not exceed Rs. 5 lakhs. They must be getting enrolled in the first year of either engineering or MBBS degree programmes. Amount granted: Rs. 30,000 and 40,000 per annum for engineering and MBBS respectively.<\/td><\/tr>

Special Programs<\/td>VKSSF awards PUC and DEGREE scholarships under this scheme to empower students from communities such as Kudubi and Kharvi. There is a separate programme for Konkani Speaking Students from Kerala.VKSSF also supports the \u201cVidya Poshak\u201d \u201cUdupi\u201d \u201cKharvi Vidya Nidhi\u201d, and \u201cKundapur\u201d scholarship programs.
