Why Self-Introduction is Important?

According to the proverb, “First impressions are everything.” Students must present a compelling argument for their introduction. Students should make an introduction to the audience, including information about their names, preferences, personality traits, families, and previous experiences.

Students must therefore be able, to sum up, who they are in 10 to 12 lines while also covering every aspect of speaking to people. To communicate clearly, it’s imperative to introduce yourself. Students should feel comfortable engaging the audience.

Sample 1

Hello everyone, my name is Ashmit. I’ve lived throughout India, but I was born in Jaipur, the pink city. I feel equally at home in many places. So, I cannot decide which to call home. My dad is in the Navy, and he got transferred to the city, so I had the chance to get enrolled here.

And these days, along with painting and badminton, I’m trying to learn how to code. And I devour books whenever I get the chance. I enjoy reading and consider myself a bookworm. Do we have a book club, friends? (Try to interact with the students.)

As I mentioned, my dad is in the Navy, so we have to relocate every two to four years. So far in my life, I’ve had the opportunity to experience seven different states in India. Having experienced the diversity of India’s people and their delicious cuisine, I am drawn to the beauty of our country.

The best part of transferring is the opportunity to branch out socially and explore a new city. Honestly, it’s not always fun being in a new city; sometimes I really miss seeing my friends. Since I was a toddler, I have had to adapt to new cities and new people.

To keep the memories of all the places I’ve lived alive in my heart. I have made a picture book. Thanks to my photography skills Guys, you can always count on me for your amazing photographs. I will be glad to be your photographer.

Thanks, that’s all. I look forward to making the most of my time here with you. My extroverted self can’t hold the excitement of getting to know you all and exploring college life together.

Sample 2

Hi class, I am Jaya. I am from Porbandar; have any of you been there? Or do you know this place? Yes, you got it right—it’s the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Let me tell you more interesting things about my place. The Porbandar is situated in Coastal Gujarat on the shore of the Arabian Sea. You can find many beautiful beaches there. So, what are the perks of living there? I can see waves dancing from my window. I wake up to a beautiful sunrise. And trust me, the sky’s the prettiest in the evening. And I cannot explain the beauty of the sand or the amusing creatures crawling and washing up on the shore by the sea.

And that’s how I developed my love for the ocean; I aspire to be a marine biologist. Apart from that, I love anime. AOT is my favourite. And basketball is my first love. I have been playing the game since I was 5. I am a state-level basketball player; is anyone here who plays? Wonderful, I can’t wait to get on the court with you guys.

I’m excited to start my time in college. Let me tell you guys, I have always been so excited about my college life. I can’t wait to meet new people, make friends, learn, and explore new things here with you all. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone here and having some amazing experiences with you. I’m excited to have fun, socialize, and learn a lot here.

Thanks a lot for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself.
