I also joined a drawing and painting camp in our colony. We used crayons, watercolors, and even did leaf painting. My favorite drawing was of a sunset at the beach. I got a small trophy and a sketchbook as a gift from the teacher.

Every evening, I read one story from my new book \u2018Grandma\u2019s Tales\u2019. It has 20 short stories. I also planted two flower pots, marigold and sunflower, with mom\u2019s help. I water them daily, and they are growing well.

Though I stayed home, I learned many things and enjoyed a lot. I wish you could come home soon. I miss you.

Dadi made all my favorite dishes: parathas, mango pickle, and rice kheer. The mangoes from our own trees were so sweet. I ate at least two mangoes every day. I also learned how to make roti using the clay chulha. It was fun and smoky.

In the evening, I played cricket with village kids in the open field. We also played kabaddi and hide-and-seek. At night, we sat on the terrace and watched stars and fireflies. There was no noise or traffic. I also visited the village library and read a book about birds in India.I learned a lot about farm life, nature, and how simple village living is healthy and happy. Next time, you must come with us.
