Many students have expressed that the meals provided are often bland in taste, and at times, the vegetables used do not appear to be fresh. Additionally, the menu remains the same every day, which has made lunchtime repetitive and unappealing for many of us.

While most students bring lunch money from home, we often hesitate to spend it on food that does not meet our expectations in terms of taste or quality. As a result, some students have started skipping lunch altogether, which can negatively affect their concentration and energy levels during afternoon classes.

In light of this, we kindly request the following improvements in the facilities of the canteen:
I. Introduction of a wider variety of healthy and tasty food options
Ii. Use of fresh vegetables and high-quality ingredients at all times
iii. Addition of snacks that are popular and enjoyable among students
iv. Collection of feedback from students regarding preferred food choices

We understand that managing the canteen is a challenging task, but we believe that enhancing the food quality and menu would greatly improve the lunchtime experience for all students.

Subject: Request to Extend Canteen Hours and Improve Seating Arrangements

Respected Sir\/Madam,

I am writing to you as a student of Class 9-B to highlight a few challenges many of us are facing with the current canteen schedule and seating arrangements.

At present, the canteen operates only during the 30-minute lunch break. Due to the large number of students trying to access food within this short period, long queues form quickly. As a result, many of us are unable to purchase our food in time or are forced to eat in a hurry, which affects our comfort and well-being.

Additionally, there is a shortage of proper seating in the canteen. Many students end up standing while eating or sitting on the floor, which is neither hygienic nor comfortable. On rainy days, when sitting outdoors is not an option, the situation becomes even more difficult due to overcrowding.

We kindly request the following changes for your consideration:
i. Extend canteen hours by opening 15 minutes before lunch and keeping it open 15 minutes after.
ii. Increase the number of tables and benches to ensure every student can sit while eating.
iii. Allow students to purchase snacks during shorter breaks, if possible.
iv. Introduce an organised queuing system to avoid crowding and ensure a fair turn for all.

We sincerely believe these improvements will make lunchtime more comfortable and organised for everyone and help students stay refreshed and focused in their afternoon classes.
