Types of Mass Movements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Slow Movements: <\/strong>Sometimes, soil moves downhill very slowly. One type is called soil creep, where soil slowly slides down a slope over a long time. Another type is solifluction, which happens when wet soil moves slowly over frozen ground. This usually happens in very cold places like the tundra.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rapid Movements: <\/strong>Other times, soil and rocks move quickly and suddenly.
