For many years, waste production, polluted rivers, and unsanitary conditions have been issues in both urban and rural areas, affecting health, the environment, and even the economy. Clean India is a movement that addresses these issues and aims to make every spot of our country clean.\u00a0

The benefits of cleanliness are directly related to our health. When we limit waste production and maintain cleanliness, we reduce disease spread. Clean public places encourage individuals to spend more time outside. A clean India also benefits the tourism industry and local economies. A clean atmosphere can improve our nation’s image and represent the value of its citizens.
However, for clean India to succeed, everyone must work together. Each of us must play our roles on an individual basis.
