To pass a subject with practical work in the Senior School Certificate Examination, students need to achieve 33% marks in both the theory and practical components individually. They also need to have an overall average of 33% marks in the subject. To pass class 12, a student must score 33% in both theoretical and practical sections. Students must appear in at least five papers.
