I hope this letter finds you in good health. First of all, I want to wish you a very Happy New Year. As we have stepped into the new year, I want to share with you how I celebrated New Year.

This year, my family and I decided to keep the party simple. We started the evening with some delicious cooked food.  My mother prepared my favourite foods, such as mashed potatoes, roast chicken, and chocolate cake. After dinner, we all gathered to play some board games. We spent a great day together and laughed a lot. At the stroke of midnight, we all hugged and wished each other a Happy New Year. We then raised a toast and discussed our resolutions for the upcoming year. To end the night, we watch a movie together.

I hope this letter finds you well. I’d like to wish you and your family a very happy new year. As the new year is here, I’d like to share with you how I celebrated this wonderful occasion.

This year, my family and I held a small celebration at home. We began decorating our homes with balloons and lights a few days in advance. On New Year’s Eve, we prepared a lovely feast. One of my favourites was my mother’s handmade lasagna with chocolate brownie. As midnight showed up we gathered in our living room to watch the countdown on the television. When the clock struck twelve, we wished each other a happy new year. It was a time full of love and hope for the coming year.

Following the toast, we headed outside to watch the neighbourhood fireworks. The next day, we continued to celebrate and exchanged gifts. Overall, it was a fantastic new year, full of warmth and fun.

I’d love to hear about your New Year’s celebrations. How did you spend the day? I am looking forward to hearing all about it. I wish you a wonderful year ahead, filled with happiness, good health, and success.
