A significant example of this art form, Amaravati Stupa is marked by distinctive features such as a large dome, complex gates, and sculptural decoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Amaravati Stupa was surrounded by Pradakshina patha, which is enclosed by a railing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The railings and gateways are decorated with intricate carvings portraying phases from Buddha&#8217;s life and the Jataka Tales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The basic architectural features of the Amaravati Art style are the dome and drum, as well as the railings and gateways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Dome and Drum:<\/strong> The Dome of a stupa is known as Anda, which represents the cosmic mountain Meru. The Dome is supported by a drum covered in magnificent carvings.
