I was so nervous as the race was about to start, but to my good luck and efforts, I stood first in the race. My other friends too participated in their favourite events and I cheered for them a lot. At the end of the day, the winners received medals. I got a gold medal for my 1st position in the hurdle race. I showed it to my parents at home, and they said they were very proud of me. It was a great day.\u00a0
