The total number of marks in the JEE Advanced<\/strong><\/a> examination varies a lot between 300-400 marks. There are two papers in the JEE Advanced examination, paper 1 & 2. There is a negative marking scheme in the JEE Advanced examination. You will be given 4 marks for every correct answer and 2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The JEE advanced examination includes two papers, i.e. paper 1 and paper 2. Both papers include 3 sections and have different types of questions. JEE Advanced Total Marks Marking Scheme\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The different sections of the JEE Advanced examination include different numbers of questions and these questions have different weightages. There is a negative marking for each wrong answer. So it is suggested to leave the question rather than making a wrong guess. The maximum marks for each section differ from section to section.
