But do you know the reason behind this? Why do people continue to consume despite being aware of the health risks? This is because tobacco includes nicotine, a very addictive chemical. Since these substances have a significant negative impact on health, tobacco use must be banned.

According to a study by the World Health Organization (WHO), Tobacco kills about 8 million people each year. Most people who consume tobacco products fall victim to diseases like cancer and heart and respiratory problems. These deadly diseases are far more difficult to treat and cost billions of dollars per year.\u00a0 It acts as a burden to our healthcare system and economy, as all of this money could be used to address other health issues.\u00a0

The production of tobacco leads to deforestation and soil degradation, which harm the environment, while its consumption affects society.
