The day of the journey started smoothly. I arrived at the railway station on time, purchased my ticket, and made my way to the platform. As I settled into my seat, I could not help but be excited about the prospect of catching up with my grandparents. 

Still, the train left on schedule, but much more slowly than normal and with random jolts and jerks. I understood that going by train would always result in unexpected events.

As the hours and the speed of the train crawled along at the pace of a snail, the atmosphere inside the compartment grew restless. The fellow passengers, with their frustration, were exchanging stories of the delayed journey with each other. 

Meanwhile, I struck up a conversation with an elderly gentleman seated across. He shared his train adventures, wisdom, and unique perspective on the situation. Our conversation passed the time. I found myself grateful for the unexpected opportunity to connect with someone new on my journey. 

Although the slow incident was quite troublesome, after a couple of hours, the crew of the train successfully cleared the tracks, and we were back on the train.

The experience of the journey itself was one that I will cherish forever. It taught me valuable lessons about patience, adaptability, and appreciating the journey instead of focusing on the destination.
