Hello! I hope everything is good with you. I want to tell you about my favourite festival \u2013 Diwali.
This year, Diwali will be celebrated on 20th October 2025. It is one of the biggest festivals in India. Diwali means \u201crows of lamps\u201d. People decorate their homes with oil lamps, electric lights, and rangolis. It celebrates the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after 14 years and the victory of good over evil.

At my house, we clean every corner and buy new clothes. In the evening, we do Lakshmi Puja and then burst crackers. My sister and I help Mom make sweets like gujiya and besan laddoo. I love the whole week of fun, food, and family time.

Assalamualaikum! I hope you and your family are doing well. I want to share my excitement about Eid-ul-Fitr, which is my most loved festival.

This year, Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be on 30th March 2025, based on the moon sighting. It comes after the holy month of Ramzan, where we fast for 30 days. On Eid morning, we go for special prayers and wear our best clothes. We hug our friends and family and say \u201cEid Mubarak!\u201d

My parents make tasty dishes like sheer khurma, chicken curry, and halwa. I also get Eidi (money gifts) from elders. The whole day is full of happiness and smiles. We also donate to the needy, which is called Zakat.

We celebrate Christmas on 25th December every year. It is the birthday of Jesus Christ, and people all over the world join in the joy. In Goa, the celebration is beautiful with lights, stars, and music everywhere. We decorate a Christmas tree at home and also put a cradle of baby Jesus.

I enjoy baking plum cakes with Mom and singing carols with friends. At night, we go to church for midnight mass. I even dressed up as Santa Claus in school this year! Did you know that Christmas is celebrated in more than 160 countries?
