How are you? I hope you are doing well. I am writing to tell you all about our school’s Sports Day, which was held on 15th April 2025 at the school ground.

It was a bright sunny day. The event began at 9:00 AM with the National Anthem. Our Principal, Mrs. Neelam Verma, gave a welcome speech. The chief guest was Mr. Rajeev Tomar, a national-level wrestler.

We had many events like the 100m race, 200m race, sack race, long jump, and kho-kho. I took part in the lemon and spoon race and came second! Around 500 students participated, and our parents were also invited. There was a prize distribution at the end, and the winners got medals and certificates.

The day ended at 2 PM, and everyone was happy and tired. I had a great time and wished you were there too.

I hope you and your family are fine. I want to share about our annual Sports Day at school. It happened on 18th April 2025 in our school playground.

We had beautiful decorations with flags and balloons. The chief guest was Ms. Sneha Patil, a famous hockey player. She gave a short speech on why students should play outdoor games. She told us that playing sports daily helps improve our health and makes our mind active.

I participated in the relay race and our team won first prize. Other events included musical chairs, basketball match, yoga display, and gymnastics. We also had a march past and a drill by Class 5 students. About 20 schools came to watch as guests.

There was a food counter too. I ate a veg sandwich and had juice. The weather was pleasant, and we clicked many photos.
It was the best day of this month. I hope your Sports Day is coming soon too.

The event started with a welcome dance and a speech by the Director. Our school invited Colonel R.S. Sharma as the chief guest. He told us that in 2024, India won 107 medals in the Asian Games, and encouraged us to join sports.

We had a kabaddi match, 400m race, high jump, and shot put. There was also a fun tug-of-war between teachers and students! I didn\u2019t win any race but I enjoyed cheering for my friends.

The prize ceremony was amazing. Winners got medals, certificates, and sports kits. Over 800 students attended. The school gave us snacks and juice after the event.
