He was a staunch devotee of Lord Rama and dedicated his life to his worship.\u00a0 In this article, we will delve into the life, history, books, and remarkable works of Goswami Tulsidas, with a special focus on his renowned masterpieces, the Ramcharitmanas and the Hanuman Chalisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-early-life\">Early Life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Goswami Tulsidas was born in the 16th century in the town of Soron Shukar Kshetra, UP (as officially announced by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, India in the year 2012). According to some scholars, he was born on 11 August 1511 AD, while some believed he was born in the year 1532 AD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>According to <em>Vinaya Patrika<\/em>,&nbsp; he was born with 32 teeth and uttered Ram as the first word.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hence, his birth name was Rambola Dubey\u00a0 (who uttered the word Ram), given by his parents, Atmaram Dubey and Hulsi Devi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a child, Tulsidas showed immense curiosity and an inclination towards spirituality. Although not many sources are available in the context of his early life. But Tulsidas denied having any magical powers, which made Akbar angry, and he sentenced him to jail in Fatehpur Sikri. Staying at the jail, Tulsidasji composed Hanuman Chalisa and narrated it for forty days. Surprisingly.
