This time it will be known by the name, Gaganyaan Mission. Gaganyaan, which translates from Sanskrit to \u201ccelestial vehicle,\u201d is the name of India\u2019s endeavour to send at least four astronauts into low-Earth orbit. Read to know more about the upcoming launch by ISRO which is all set to change the history of space research and development in India. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gaganyaan-mission-2023\">Gaganyaan Mission 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ISRO has finally made it official that it is all set to conduct another test which will take place on 21st October, 2023. To work on this, a high-level conference was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the future of India\u2019s space programs and to evaluate the <strong>Gaganyaan Mission<\/strong>\u2019s development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is an official tweet by ISRO confirming the launch event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">TV-D1 Flight Test:<br>The test is scheduled for October 21, 2023, at 0800 Hrs. Source: ISRO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For all those wondering, the Gaganyaan mission will start landing at a height of around 17 km, the Crew Escape System, in particular, will separate from the Test Vehicle and go through a self-executing abort sequence, which will finally result in the safe landing of the crew module in the water about 10 km off the coast of Sriharikota.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Will Happen on 21st October?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On 21st October, the Crew Escape System Test Vehicle will conduct its initial demonstration flight. The main aim behind this project is to see a demonstration of ISRO\u2019s human spaceflight capability by launching a human crew to an orbit of 400 km and bringing them safely back to Earth.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will happen after two successful missions \u2013 Chandrayan-3 and Aditya L-1 (both lunar and solar missions). This will be an unmanned flight\u2014during which a similar unpressurized crew module will be sent into space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gaganyaan-mission-2023-date-time\">Gaganyaan Mission 2023 Date & Time <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Gaganyaan Mission, which is to be launched by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/blog\/how-to-become-a-space-scientist-in-isro\/\">ISRO<\/a><\/strong>, aims to send a four-person crew into space. This mission, which was originally scheduled to launch in 2022, was later postponed to 2023.
