It provides financial assistance to students belonging to <a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/discover\/general-knowledge\/what-is-the-full-form-of-sc\/#:~:text=The%20full%20form%20of%20SC%20is%20Scheduled%20Caste.,the%20recognition%20of%20these%20organisations.\"><strong>Scheduled Castes<\/strong><\/a> (SC) who wish to <strong>pursue higher studies<\/strong> leading to M.Phil. and PhD degrees in various disciplines. The fellowship covers the tuition fees, contingency grants, and monthly stipends for the selected candidates in recognized universities\/institutions within or outside Maharashtra.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-eligibility-criteria\">Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from belonging to the SC category and having a domicile certificate of Maharashtra, here are some other eligibility criteria that applicants must fulfil to avail BARTI Fellowship:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The candidate must have passed the postgraduate degree examination in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC\/ST\/PH candidates) from a recognized university or institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidate must have cleared the <a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/discover\/indian-exams\/ugc-net-exam-date\/\"><strong>UGC NET Exam<\/strong><\/a> or any other equivalent test recognized by UGC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidate must have secured admission or provisional admission in a full-time M.Phil. or Ph.D. program in a recognized university or institution within or outside Maharashtra.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidate must not be receiving any other fellowship or scholarship from any other source.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-barti-fellowship-benefits\">BARTI Fellowship: Benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The BARTI fellowship awards a maximum period of 5 years or until the completion of the degree, whichever comes first.
