It was launched via rocket LVM3-M4. The target was the reach the lunar south pole of the moon and conduct scientific experiments to study the surface of the moon. Chandryaan-3 has a lander and a rover. The lander was made for a smooth landing whereas the rover rolls out of the lander containing 5 payloads to study different aspects of the moon.
